Week #: Daily Photo Journal

This has been a crazy week and lining these up is a bit tricky when they aren't both horizontal or vertical on the same line. We'll have to find the best dimensions to size things to in order to make them work the best. Or we'll just have to put all verticals on one line and all horizontals on another line no matter the order that they were taken in.

Week #: Edits: Templates & Clipping Masks

Clipping masks with templates are great! They're easy to use and they are a quick way to put a book together. One thing to remember, though, is that when you're going to post it online use a smaller version for the jpeg. This way it will upload quickly. People can always click on the image to view it bigger.

Week #: Auto Exposure Bracketing

This shot was interesting because I had to stand in the street to get it. Be sure to watch for cars.

I found it best to use a tripod so I could be sure that later the images would line up. I set my camera to automatically do all three exposures so all I had to do was set up the shot and hold down the button.

Week #: High Dynamic Range

Here I combine the previous post's images using two different programs, Dynamic Photo and Photomatix. Each program has it's own pros and cons. The best thing I can tell you is that Dynamic Photo seems to have a lot more options as far as adjustments.
